The admissions process

Call, email, or use our inquiry form. Whether you're exploring for yourself, your daughter, or a client, the first conversation is private and carries no obligation.
A phone conversation
We'll schedule an unhurried call to hear your story, answer questions, and describe daily life at the house honestly — including whether we think we're the right fit.
Clinical review and fit assessment
With your consent, we speak with the current treatment team, review clinical history, and confirm that The Ginger House offers the right level of support. If we're not the best next step, we'll help you find what is.
Welcome and move-in
We plan the transition together — arrival day, what to bring, introductions to housemates and staff — so the first night already feels a little like coming home.
Paying for care
Insurance and private pay, plainly
Insurance
Coverage for transitional residential support varies widely by plan. We'll help you understand what your insurance may cover and provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement where applicable. We'll always tell you plainly what we know and don't know about your coverage before any commitment.
Private pay
We offer transparent monthly rates, discussed openly during the admissions conversation. We never want cost questions to feel awkward — ask us anything, early and often.
Confidentiality
Every conversation stays private
Inquiries are confidential from the first hello. We share information only with the people you authorize — typically the treatment team involved in the fit assessment — and nothing about an inquiry obligates you to anything. Our home’s location is shared during the admissions process rather than published online, a deliberate choice to protect residents’ privacy.
