Privacy policy
Privacy, in plain language
People reach this site during vulnerable moments. That shapes every choice below: collect little, protect what's collected, and explain it without legal fog.
Policy details
What we collect, and why
If you use our inquiry form, we collect what you type: your name, email, optional phone number, how you're connected to the person seeking support, an optional age range, and your message. We use it for exactly one purpose — responding to you and, if you choose to continue, supporting the admissions conversation.
We do not buy data about you, build advertising profiles, or sell or rent anything you share with us. Ever.
Minimal analytics
We keep measurement to the minimum needed to know the site works: aggregate, privacy-respecting counts of page visits. No advertising trackers, no cross-site cookies, no social media pixels.
How we protect inquiry data
Messages sent through our form travel over an encrypted connection and are accessible only to the small team who responds to inquiries. We keep inquiry records only as long as they're useful for the conversation you started with us, then delete them.
If you'd like us to delete what you've shared at any point, email us and we will.
A note about health privacy laws
This website is an informational site, and The Ginger House is not acting as a HIPAA-covered entity in operating it. That legal detail doesn't change our practical commitment: we treat everything you share with the same care we'd want for our own families. During admissions, clinical information is handled under separate consent and release agreements we'll review with you directly.
Residents' privacy is why there's no address here
You may notice our website doesn't publish a street address. That's intentional. Our residents' safety and privacy come first, so location details are shared personally during the admissions process.
